Thinking of buying. Any advice?

I am thinking of buying a 1984 34 foot international. It has not been used in about 6 yrs. Buying from an elderly widow so no history. Looks to be in good working order but in need of cleaning. I am a mechanic so repairs are no problem. I have never owned an airstream or even been in one before.
