Ableton Live transport sync question

Have a quick question regarding transport syncing with Ableton Live. I'm using Mobius as a plug-in within Ableton. Default Sync Source = Host.

When the Mobius plug-in window is active, my Mac spacebar controls both Ableton transport and Mobius playback, keeping the start points in sync. The spacebar provides four functions depending on state: Ableton Play / Mobius Play, and Ableton Stop / Mobius Pause.

I'd like to replicate the functionality of the spacebar on a single MIDI footswitch.

I've tried sending a MIDI note to both Ableton Play and Mobius Play, and another MIDI note to both Ableton Stop and Mobius Pause. But this operates a bit differently, is a bit clunky, and requires two separate footswitches.

I'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction?

Setting Knob and slider values with the push of a button.

Recently I was struggling in my DAW to set up a routing that allowed me to set virtual knobs and sliders to specific values with button pushes, as opposed to linking a parameter to a physical knob
and turning it. I personally wanted this ability for the speed and precision it would grant when adjusting LFO rates, but it could potentially be used for any assignable parameter. After struggling for a couple days it dawned
on me that perhaps Mobi would be suited to the task. I was not disappointed.

So if anyone else finds use for this technique, it's quite simple, just a basic Midi Out script straight out of the scripting reference manual.

Here's an example:

I joined a while back and have been working with Mobius a lot for the last year and a half in the shadows. Thanks to everyone on this forum, because of your love and dedication I hardly even had to ask questions! I finally feel comfortable enough to try and be helpful on the forum.

Long Press Record as Reset

I'm new here and to Mobius, and having fun peeling the layers of the onion.

In the manual, it states that Long Press Record may be used as a replacement for a Reset button.
Sounds like a good idea, but when I try, it the loop simply starts recording again.

What am I missing?

Global Mute/Restart not working for Muted Tracks

Is there a way to make all tracks play from the top when i hit Global Mute for the 2nd time, even when they are muted? Here's my situation:

Three Tracks, three Loops playing in Sync.
Mute Mode for all Tracks set to Start.
All good when i hit Global Mute, all Tracks switch to Mute.
All good when i hit it again, all Tracks start from the top. Good.

Now comes the problem:
If one of those Tracks is already muted it will not start form the top when i hit Global Mute for the 2nd time.
Result: when i unmute this specific track, it will be out of sync with the other tracks.

Is there a solution for my problem?

I am using RME Fireface UC, Windows 7 (64Bit) on Lenovo THinkPad SL 510, recording with Cubase 8 LE(but Mobius standalone mode(?), not synced to the Host (cubase)), trying to sync BeatBuddy(Drumcomputer-Pedal) either as slave or master...

(Since BeatBuddy has some Intros starting not at 1 of the meassure, what is forcing hardware Loopers to also start at the same count like BB (not on 1), there is possibillity to send Midi start after Intro... So I assume BB as Midi Master would be best, but I don´t insist... I just want to start recording after Intro (I can programm other Intros allways starting on one, when needed(but alot of work...)

Loops should allways sync to the whole Beat of Meassure (3/4, 4/4, 6/4, 6/8, 7/8, etc., I assume I need different Mobius Projects for any Meassure, what will be okay...)

Everything controlled by Gordius BigLittleGiant 2.

What I want: Record different Instruments to different Tracks (E-Guitar with Kemper Profiler(A guitar with Mooer acousticar through KPA), Bass (guitar with EHX POG), Keyboard(sound with Boss SY 300), Vocals...), all routed to theyr own Bus in Cubase.
So Tracks should allways Sync (all Tracks should be in the same Loop), but with possibillity to multiply the length of recording in each Track

Loops should be treated as Song Parts (Verse, chorus, etc), with possibillity to copy sound of loops, but play with little reduced volume for Vocal Parts (when possible, but I could also use an xpressionPedal)

And last but not least, I want to be able to save the Projects on PC, to work along on unready songs later... (I failed on this so far, since I tried to use Mobius in slave Mode and and Loops of saved projects allways remain in Pause mode, when loaded again and I was not able to unpause in sync with BeatBuddy...)

I am new to this software i stumbled upon on the net and i love what it could do.

I´m looping for some years now, I´ve started with Boss RC 50, then 300.
Was happy with those for a long time, but felt a little limited with my drumcomputer (Boss DR 880) and then I saw BeatBuddy... So the Boss DR was history... But the Boss loopers did not quantized with BeatBuddy and so I moved to Pigtronix Infinity. But since 2 loops was not enough for me, I needed two of them, this was sometimes little confusing to programm, but I had it working with less limits...
Christmas I made me a present: RME FireFace UC and now connected to PC I found Mobius Looper what was another great christmas present for me , so many possibilities...
Since I am not firm with programming(don´t know anything about scripting etc) and english isn´t my native language, I hope to find some help here...

Hello, I`m new here, trying to set up mobius as slave for my beat buddy. I have nearly everything the way I want, but there is just one problem:
When I load saved projects, all loops are paused. I just need a way to unpause the loops quantized to the the Midi clock from BeatBuddy. Is there any way?
Please somebody help me.

Unpause with Mobius as slave

Hello, I`m new here, trying to set up mobius as slave for my beat buddy. I have nearly everything the way I want, but there is just one problem:

Building a loop station

I'm building my new live show, and I've been trying to figure it out how to program mobius to work like Ed Sheeran's loop station ''the chewie monsta'', i'm probably gonna use a FCB1010.
I know that there's already a couple posts on the forum about this subject,but none of them had come up with a real solution

I am experimenting with rate shift in a way which is supposed to be a real time processing of the incoming audio.
Background: if I set feedback to zero, set pitch-shift ( any value), hit overdub and play, I'm getting the incoming signal processed with such a transposition.
Why if I apply the same procedure to rate ( change pitch-shifting to rate-shifting, I'm not getting the relative result ?

I see that if I assign sustain overdub to a midi command, it doesn't even react unless I go to Configuration>presets>sustain and bring overdub to the right column.
With such a solution I just have sustain overdub available: classic overdub ( toggle) becomes sustain.

Timing is off?

Is it me or does Mobius start and end a bit late? I will start a beat and it never gets the first beat and always leaves too much silence at the end. AND when I do get it right all the later loops never match up!

There's this "restore after reset" parameter that for the life of me I can't figure out how to make it work. What I need is the group assigning (done in my case with script that toggles between group a group b and no group at all) to not be reset after loop reset.

Of course if someone has a tip on scripting for deciding which paremeters and values reset in each of the reset types (loop, track and global) it would be more than awesome because I'm pretty green when it comes to scripting besides a couple of them that I did to my own surprise...

Mobius 64bit ?

I apologize if this has already been answered. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are plans to make Mobius 64bit. The current version does not show up in Ableton 9 Suite. I tried jbridge but live crashed with this set up. That's not reliable for live use. Thanks in advance for any info.
