Title: 1975 Airstream Argosy 26 - Georgia
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Fully restored Argosy 26 with lots of amenities. The first Airstreams to have wrap around panoramic windows which let in lots of light and look nice. I have left no system untouched in the improvements made in last few years. Paint stripped off, metal polished with light grey upper surfaces painted with two part Interlux perfection marine epoxy.New Axles, 12 inch electric brakes, new wheels and tires, new air conditioning, stove refurbished, Dometic fridge works well on electric or gas, PEX plumbing throughout, new sinks, new Inverter/converter, Dual golf cart batteries for lots of amp hours, Renogy solar cells and Blue sky systems solar controller. This is a great trailer to boondock in- second AC unit can be easily run on small generator. LED lights inside and out, recently certified aluminum propane tanks with new OPD valves, hardwood laminate flooring, new countertops. Has an extra custom rear bunk so can comfortably sleep 5, re-upholstered cushions with ultraleather and new foam. Last summer it traveleled from Georgia to Colorado, Wyoming and back again and is a very nice comfortable trailer. This is a lighter weight trailer than many of the modern ones and can easily be towed behind most SUVs. Includes sway bar and weight distributing hitch. A great way to get started into the Airstream world without breaking the bank and should provide many years of enjoyment for years to come. Only selling to buy larger trailer for growing family. I have spent over 13k on refurbishment, asking 12,900 or fairly close to it. Pictures provided on request.
