Top of the line Dodge Ram 2500 Pick-up, the Laramie Longhorn Limited Mega Cab model. In addition to the exhaustive standard features, this 4x4 has the Cummings 6.7 liter diesel, limited slip rear axel, Ram Boxes, totally hands free Alpine entertainment center, premium Navigation and XM/Sirius radio. The attached window sticker lists all the factory installed equipment which brought the price to $63k. To that, the dealer installed a Backflip cargo cover, all weather front and rear rubber floor mats, mud flaps, tailgate assist, bug shield and chrome exhaust tip bringing the list price to nearly $66k. We also purchased a transferable extended warranty. The truck has 20,000 miles on it, hardly broken in. There remains the sooner of 100,000 miles or 64 months on the warranty. We traded a Mercedes M class to purchase this vehicle. The Ram has more safety and convenience items on it including heated and cooled leather seating and a heated steering wheel, perfect for climbing in after hooking up to warm up or cool down. It has an exhaust brake and 4 wheel 15" disc brakes. I stop my 30 Airstream International, truck and trailer fully loaded in tow mode with the exhaust brake feature engaged and only use the brakes for the final rolling stop. With a total gross weight over 16,000 pounds (truck and trailer) I get 13-14 mpg. A very stout and safe tow vehicle.
