Size of socket for lugs

I have a 2014 27FB Flying Cloud. I am having difficulty finding the correct socket size for the wheel lug nuts. The problem I am having is the sockets I have is too large for the walls of the holes of the rim. I know this isn't very clear but hopefully someone will understand what Im attempting to communicate.
