For our 1967 Safari I am replacing TV to trailer wiring as well as brakes & axle, among other items. The new brake wire has been routed to the brakes but then I found a second wire to each brake, assume a common ground. I've anchored the common ground wire to the frame but is it necessary to also have a direct ground wire connection to each brake?
