Curtains in 2010 30 ft. Classic Limited

Has anyone had any problems with the odor emitting from their curtains in the summer when it is hot out. Our curtains emit a very strong smell (almost could be mistaken for the black tank odor) when the sun hits them in the summer months. I have checked with AS and they told me it was the fire retardant and that I could not dry clean them as this would remove the retardant. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
