Title: 2005 Airstream Safari 30 - California
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
I am selling my 2005 Airstream Safari 30ft travel trailer. Purchased it 3 years ago and remodeled the interior. Walnut hard wood floors, rebuilt the entire seating area and all new Sunbrella upholstery, wall covering, window shades, painted all cabinets white, poured concrete countertops in kitchen and bathroom, commercial double bay sink ($900), commercial faucet ($300), glass sink in bathroom, etc. This Airstream was originally designed as an office/lounge for my travel company so the layout is ideal if you're looking for an addition on your house, mobile office/lounge, man/woman cave or have a piece of property you'd like to put it on up in wine country and of course makes a great camper to explore the western United States.
This Airstream is double axle and has a GVW of 8,400 lbs. I added a full size bed in the rear (came with 2 bunks), and there are 3 additional twin sleeping spaces up front for a total of 5. Also added a built in desk. The kitchen includes a 3 burner propane stove with vent fan, microwave, Dometic fridge/freezer and lots of storage. Two large propane tanks on the front are used for water heater, stove, heater, etc. Also includes an A/C unit. Everything is in working order. I installed a new Alpine stereo with USB hookup. Has custom cabinet with 6 bottle wine fridge. A large awning is on the exterior curb side which stretches the length of the entire trailer. Tires are good.
There is a dent/crease in the rear driver's side corner which can be fixed with a new sheet of aluminum. I added a custom hitch to the rear bumper to you can put a bike rack on it.
I have a business in Sausalito remodeling, renting and selling Airstreams, Avions, Spartans, Revcons, Streamlines and Silver Streaks so more will be coming online in the months ahead. Please also see my listings on Craigslist for 2 other Airstreams as well as a Revcon.
My asking price is lower than what I have into the acquisition and remodel but I'm interested in purchasing several vintage models to start custom remodels on so would like to sell this trailer before the end of 2014. I'm open to reasonable offers and willing to deliver.
Please feel free to contact me to set up a showing. Thank you for looking!
