Fall Rally in Northern Illinois

Time to wind down the Camping Season with Fall colors along the Rock River.:)

This will be a new twist as we leave Pecatonica and search for a new, and hopefully improved, campground.



We’ll be gathering at the Lowden State Park in Oregon Illinois on October 10, 11 and 12th.

The Park is located south of Rockford off of River Road, Route 33, north of Oregon Illinois. Being a State park Reservations can be made through Reserve America.

We have checked out the Park and sites 35-49 should work out for a group. Gravel and grass sites, 30 and 50 amp electric, shower house and water hydrants throughout the park with 2 dump stations. There are unreserved sites close by on a first come first served basis.

No theme yet for the Saturday Potluck. Being a “dry” State park I'm sure tapping a keg for Oktoberfest is out.:rolleyes: Check back later for updates.



With luck we’ll get some great Fall weather For the Saturday feast
