Thank you, Shari, for the honor of being selected to win the March photo contest, especially from a field of such great entries!
I would like the April contest to be linked to the March contest - there were many beautiful photos of winter - snow-encrusted Airstreams, animals foraging in the cold in the shadow of a dormant Airstream...
Many of you I am sure are just emerging from Winter's embrace, and ready to enjoy the warmth and emerging life of Spring.
And coupled with an inspiration from nilesrob's entry of last month, "Storm coming and going", which shows rivulets of rain flowing down an Airstreams panoramic window - I've spent many memorable moments watching those rivulets running down my window - just drop a couple of letters from "rivulets", you get "rivets" :)
Combining that with the colors and liveliness of Spring, the April theme becomes
So let your creative juices flow as the sap of the maple trees and the swollen creeks of the Spring thaw, and take this opportunity to show off your great photos of Airstreams in the waking wilderness in Springtime.
Extra credit for those shots which clearly display rivets!!!
Good luck!
Steve
