Hi, The roof of my Safari is white. Not sure if it's a factory applied paint, or ???. I suppose it's function is to reflect heat in direct sun.
When I hose it off, the rinse water is like very diluted milk- obviously particles of the white coating are rinsing off (probably mixed with dust and dirt that settles there). A bigger issue (I admit I don't hose it off too often) is the condensation in the morning running down the side of the trailer and leaving white streaks. They wipe right off, but it would be nice to resolve this.
Suggestions? I've carefully waxed the aluminum sides of the trailer, but never the roof. Would that help? Another kind of coating or treatment?
