I just installed a new Shurflo Revolution pump in my 65. I'm still finishing the plumbing, all new PEX... but rather than purchasing the silencing kit, I just bought Home Depot standard sink flexible lines. Has anybody used these for this purpose? I am looking at the inside of the couplings for these lines and they are quite a bit smaller than 1/2" ID. Does anybody that has the silencing kit know if the ID is 1/2"? I don't want to cause any problems with my new pump, but I don't know if there is any real difference with the silencing kit and the HD sink hose. Any thoughts?
