Newbie Who's Done a Bit of Research

Good afternoon: I was on here a few months back asking some basic questions as my wife and I consider this lifestyle after retirement. We even went up to NJ back in January to Colonial Airstream and checked out a few models. Turns out the 25' Flying Cloud not going to to do the trick for what we envision - a year of touring about so as to figure out where we want to live post-working - and think 27' required. My wife, of course, liked the idea of an upscale model! But that's a couple of years from now. In meantime, we have been struck by the relative dearth of AirStreams we see on road (we live in Northern VA, close in to DC) and wonder were all the people who use/live/enjoy them are? We would like to visit with some actual users, perhaps in some place where more than a few have gathered? It seems like it's a wide and diverse community out there. Any ideas as to where there might be an event where a crowd of Airstreamers might be in near future, in this area? Thanks! JackKerouac
