Title: 2008 Airstream Bambi 16 - Florida
We just listed our 2008 Airstream Bambi for Sale on Airstream Classifieds.
Year: 2008 Make: Airstream Model: Bambi Length: 16'
This is a rare 2008 DWR 16' Bambi Airstream in EXCELLENT condition.
For a complete walkthrough of the exact model, please see this YouTube video: http://ift.tt/1kBf3Nb
I bought the DWR from Bates RV in February of 2012 for $34,975 (invoice available for viewing).
In July of 2012 I had Soundwaves of Tampa remove the pre-exisitng audio and video system and install new Toshiba 24" LCD TV with Blu-Ray, Pioneer In-Dash AVHP4400BH Audio w/ Bluetooth and HD Radio, Hertz HDP Amplifier, Sirrius BUS Interface, Tuner and Receiver, iPhone Dock and Microphone, Apple TV, Pioneer iPod a/v Direct Cable, all new speakers with 70W X 4 + 380W X 1 @ 4 OHM 70 W X 4 + 550W @ 4/2 OHM 200W X 2 + 550W @ 4/2 OHM, PLUS installed Niles outdoor speakers, Hertz Energy 8" woofer 4 ohm, Marine SAT Antenna, ALL new cabling for entire sytem, independent Braille Battery to power only the audio/video system, and a speaker switching system for indoor, outdoor or both.
Total cost of Audio/Video installation was $10,125 (invoice and specs also available for viewing).
I'm in the music business and do tend to overkill. :) Meanwhile, I doubt you'll ever find a comparable system in any 16' Airstream. Absolutely killer sound and video!
My wide and I used the Airstream twice in all the time we've had it. Honest injun. Why? We also bought a large boat and she prefers the water to dry land. Happy wife, happy life.
I keep it on the side of the house hooked up to shore power to keep batteries charged, humidified and to keep all systems humming along.
From time to time tho, under the guise of 'maintenance', I have been known to sneak out to the DWR (fishing magazines tucked into my toobox) and lounge on the bed while blasting my favorite Sirrius channel, AC turned to high, beverage and snacks within easy reach. :)
I'm selling because I want to repower the boat with a couple of new Yamaha 250hp outboards. They are not cheap, its summer, fishing is good... and so I am a motivated seller. Not desperate... but certainly motivated to accept the first reasonable offer from a cash buyer.
Interested? Feel free to call or email me at wendkos@me.com (no dealers please).
