Locked water filler door

Hi All

I've moved onto checking out the water systems in our '75 Overlander 27' and of course the first leak found is behind the bathtub. but my question is this, the door to the tank filler is locked and there is no key, do I just try to drill it out, call a locksmith or does someone have another way out?
