Floor replacement - aluminium

I have a 2001 Safari with a soft floor at the front. No doubt rotten but have not pulled up the vinyl for an inspection yet - all too scary. Having had an aluminium livestock trailer for our cattle business, I was wondering if anyone had replaced their Airstream wood floor with an aluminium one. The livestock trailer stood many, many years of manure and urine so I am sure such a floor would be even better than marine grade plywood as a replacement.
