We have a 1980 International with the center bath and large wardrobe. It has the Airstream 'wood' vinyl covering on the two in side walls, but the original 1980/late 1970 short loop carpet (in a 'lovely' retro pattern) on the back wall. I have steam cleaned it, it looks okay and very few will actually see it behind the clothes, hanging shelves, etc.
I used our new wood flooring for the floor, but don't relish the idea of trying to get that carpet off of the whole back wall. Particularly since it took me a few weeks, several putty knives and a large bottle of GooGone to get a 2' x 3' section of the same carpet off the bedroom wall around the access door. So - I was thinking of at least installing cedar lining on the two side walls to deter moths, whatever and I like the cedar smell.
Suggestions?
