Title: 1960 Airstream Tradewind 24 - Oklahoma
We just listed our 1960 Airstream Tradewind for Sale on Airstream Classifieds.
Year: 1960 Make: Airstream Model: Tradewind Length: 24'
I bought this trailer as a project about two years ago and have since found myself in a financial situation that will not allow me to continue working on it. I currently have the front and kitchen cabinets pulled in order to get to the floor, which will definitely need replacing in that area due to water damage. The main kitchen cabinet also has water damage and will need to be rebuilt/replaced. I still have all of the other cabinets(see photo).
This is a project trailer, and is being sold as-is. I bought it off of the ORIGINAL owner, and I DO NOT have the title(you will need to file for a lost title). It had set for nearly twenty years when I purchased it, but hauled good at that point(tires will need replaced).
...my initial goal was to customize this trailer while keeping it as close to original as possible, but as my financial situation has changed I have found myself in need of liquidating numerous things, this included. My loss is your gain.
I have $3,000 in the original purchase, and would like to get that much back out of it, but I won't refuse any reasonable offers. This is dated as a 1959 model, but the serial number indicates it as a 1960 model(24ts-0184 -- see photo). I am also a bit confused as to the make. It has the tandem axel but measures at 24', and most of the photos I have seen are of single axel models.
As much as I hate to part with this(I truly do), I need to sell it, and sell it soon, as I have bills piling up.
Call or email, no reasonable offer refused--918 4six2-zero330
