Aveda Full Spectrum Deposit Only hair colour

Hello,

I'd like to find out if anyone has used Aveda Full Spectrum Deposit only colour. I had this colour applied at a salon last month, I've had it before and it has left my hair in a good condition.

This time, the hairdresser left it on for an hour, I noticed my scalp was burning, and it has left my dark brown hair several shades lighter, with a yellowy tint, and extremely dry and breaking off even if I run my fingers through it.

I have shoulder length hair so I'm really upset about the damage this has caused.

I called Aveda and they told me that the deposit only colour can't lighten your hair.I went back to the salon twice to check if the hairdresser had used the deposit only colour, and she said she did, but my hair looks as though it has been bleached. I haven't used bleach or a permanent dye on my hair before, and I haven't had this dye applied for 18 months.

Has anyone used this dye, and can it cause extreme hair damage and lightening?

Any advice on what to do? It seems to be getting worse and worse.
