I am living in a city which is considered to be one of the hotbeds of allergies in the world. Unfortunately, my immune system responded around 5 years ago and I started having allergy symptoms. They grew slowly and eventually took my sense of smell away.
I have tried almost everything and cannot really understand what to do at this stage now. I have used nasal sprays, almost all kind of anti allergy drugs, nasal wash etc. I loved food but unfortunately, I am no longer getting the taste. One side of my nose stays blocked and sometimes when it is open it seems that I can smell better. But, there have been days when I have my both nostrils open but I still could not smell.
This is mostly accompanied with post nasal drip which fails to give way.
All my chocolates, candies and ice creams normally sit idle for weeks before I just consume them as sweet or sour rather than strawberry and apple.
Please help me. I am extremely frustrated...........
