Hello all, I am looking at a 81 31ft rear bath excella 2 trailer and upon inspection noticed something I am not familiar with so I am asking for info/advice on it.
At the rear of the trailer I noticed a slight gap in the caulking at the corner where the shell meets the frame. I put my hand on the bumper and noticed about a 1/8 to 1/4 in movement between the frame and the shell. So what does that mean? There was no gap in the middle area behind the bumper lid just the corners.
Could it be the rear sag or had that been corrected by the 80`s ?
The rest of the trailer looked solid just needs cosmetic work and tlc.
Any info on that rear affected area would be appreciated.
