1961 safari land yacht?

I found AS in a friends backyard. He thinks it is a 1961. I know it is a Safari Landyacht. He is the original owner, I believe. Serial number is 221 471 -D. Basically no dents and few road miles. One window missing. Floor solid except by front door within a door. What year is this really and any estimate on price? Refrig gone and gaucho or dinette gone. Just a rough idea would be nice. Needs tires and I am sure an axle. Pictures not avail right now, I do not my wife to find out. Thanks, jim
