We just listed our 2000 Airstream Bambi for Sale on Airstream Classifieds.

We have had a love affair with our Bambi for the last 7 years, but it is time for us to step up in size and start a new chapter in our Airstreaming life. With like new finishes in and out, we are often asked if it is brand new. Stainless steel water heater door & exhaust vent, flush cockpit door handle on bath, and new beltline trim were added a few years ago by Jackson Center. We added a hot rod to the 6 gallon water heater for both electric & propane operation. All equipment in perfect working order. The A/C has an electric heat strip. Other custom modifications include: a nook over the fridge area with microwave oven, indirect lighting, and space for your full sized coffee maker; a secondary door added to the bathroom door to allow the bath to become a square room big enough to change in (no more crossing left leg over right while taking care of business); brushed aluminum accent tile backsplash in kitchen and in vanity areas; LCD TV w/built in DVD player mounted for viewing from the dinette or while in bed; LED reading lamps over bed; an exterior retractable 25' wash down hose; marine grade hyper bright LED lights under body for illuminating camp site and light on tongue for illuminating flags (all controlled by illuminated interior switch); flag holder accommodates 3 typical home style flag poles; automatic flip leg on front jack stand; Optima Blue top gel-cell battery; Maxxis 8008 10 ply rated tires with less than 2,000 miles (the best 15" trailer tire available!); Winegard Wingman antennae for excellent TV reception; Fantastic Fan w/in&out switch; and brushed nickel accents throughout. No model year since has offered so much storage with 6 overhead cabinets, 5 lower cabinets, 2 drawers, food pantry, magazine rack, and exterior rear storage compartment.
Character marks on the exterior include: a small depression near top of roof over rear street side, 8" crease line on bottom of same area, 2 rock hits on front street side (no hail damage), all pre-dating our ownership. She was bathed regularly and waxed seasonally so the clear is in great shape with very deep reflection.
