Planning 12v Circuits

samedi 22 mars 2014

Hi,

I'm getting ready to wire for the 12v circuits in my gutted Tradewind and want to make sure I think of everything. Here's my list:

Fantastic Fan Front

Fantastic Fan Back

Furnace

Refrigerator

Water Pump

Bathroom Exhaust Fan

Refrigerator "helper" Fan

12v Power Supply Outlet

Interior Lights (LEDs mostly)

12v TV

12v Radio/CD/DVD

Please let me know if I'm forgetting something or otherwise should plan for something (the Fuse Box I purchased has 12 Circuits/Fuses).

One other question: Is there a way to power the Running Lights w/ my converter so I can run the lights when parked? It seems "odd" to just tap into the Running Light wire w/ power from the converter when in theory the lights could be receiving 12v from 2 directions - the vehicle and the converter . . . which I have a similar un-educated view of the converter wiring diagram in which, in my small mind, a 12v device would be receiving 12v from the house battery and 12v from the converter . . . how does the electricity know to reverse direction and start charging the battery instead of sending 12v x 2 to a particular device?

OK, well thanks for any help/thoughts you can give me.
