I have a 1976 Argosy 26' with a center bath. It's a beauty of a floor plan for a single mom with one kid. We live in it full time on the west coast of BC, Canada. I've been tinkering away at it for the past year and a half, but the repairs are getting beyond me. Plus, I traveled to Guatemala for 3 months and rented my place to a young girl who was uneducated and unprepared when a major cold snap hit and damaged a bunch of my plumbing. So here's a list of stuff I need done, and I'm hoping airstream-savvy repair help as close to me as possible.
Hot water tank needs to be replaced
Rip up old floor
Finish switching out old copper pipes under the floor
Reinsulate under floor
Install new floor
Repair/replace grey/black tanks, and release valves
Inspect framework and "guts" of the trailer
Possible cabinetry work as well
Anybody up for the challenge nearby? I'll drive to Washington or Oregon if I have to, but securing a reliable tow vehicle, making kid arrangements, and taking time off work for me is gonna financially hurt. I'm already parked in a gravel lot with plenty of room to work around it.
