Title: 1975 Airstream Argosy 26 - Georgia
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Selling my baby! Priced for quick sale. Sleeps 5 with custom bunk set-up. I have spent the last few years restoring/refurbishing and modernizing the features of this Argosy. Over $12000 invested, no system has been left untouched. Paint stripped and upper surfaces primed with Interlux primer and three coats of light grey Interlux Perfection 2 part epoxy- much cooler in summer and no roof leaks. The paint is a very expensive heavy duty "bulletproof" marine paint that should last for many years. New tail and running lights. All plumbing has been replaced with PEX, two New Dexter torsion axles ($1800), new digital ignition water heater, 2 high capacity golf cart batteries in series, two 160 watt Grape Solar cells and Blue Sky systems charge controller ($800) , new multi-stage converter, new wheels and tires, new awning- never used yet, new stainless and glass sinks, Delta faucet, bathtub epoxy coated, original mattresses and upholstery replaced and new ultra suede fabrics up front, new drapes and mini-blinds, Microwave and LCD TV with built in DVD player, new CD player, LED overhead lights, extra portable AC unit (stored in bath area) for off-grid cooling! Only selling because I am putting a deposit on newer 2014 model and spouse will not let me have two trailers.
