Picked up our trailer yesterday from Bayer RV in Dublin, Texas, with repairs completed caused when the lug nuts sheared off and we lost a tire and rim while traveling. The skin of the trailer behind the wheel was ripped. Bayer replaced the entire side panel, and you would never know there had been a problem. Beautiful job. While they had it, they also replaced the shower door with one that isn't bright gold (I previously removed all the other bright gold from our 2004 classic), that has a locking mechanism that works, and that hopefully doesn't leak ( trailer is winterized so we haven't tried it yet.). They also checked it out stem to stern, made sure the new hub put on at a truck repair place when the accident first happened was right, removed mud dauber nests in the awning, replaced the batteries, etc. It was well worth the 3 hour drive (6round trip) from Austin. They are great folks to deal with...straightforward and knowledgable, and seemed like they appreciated our business. They stayed in touch throughout the process and treated us and our trailer just as we hoped. If we need more work done, or decide to trade for a new trailer, we will go back to Bayer rather than the local Airstream place.
