I am considering a Weber Q-1000 LP grill. Friends rave about them. I've always been a charcoal cooker using a Cobb for the past 10 years.
Our 2012 has an LP outlet under the frame that is designed to hook a grill to and eliminate the need for the small canisters....you just run it off of your 2-tank LP supply. Neat.
Anyone using this to fire a Q-1000? Reason I ask is that Weber Customer Service said it wouldn't work right. I don't like to hear "no" and am hoping someone is using this with great results.
