Hi folks, curious about a couple things;
I am ordering my steel today and getting some pre-cut for my welder for some needed back and front replacement of the frame. Its a 1959 Tradewind. I am away from my trailer and unable to measure its thickness, but I do have the lengths.
1- Curious about the thickness of the steel:
Is the 2x4 tubing and C-channel 1/4 thick or 1/8th thick on 1959 Tradewinds?
and......
2- Is it over-kill to replace the original rotted 2x4 C-channel steel with 2x4 tubing, thus beefing it up?
Cheers, and many thanks for helping.
