Replacng lexan window rock guard

I would like to replace the warped center section of the window rock guard on my 07 Classic. I can see how to remove the frame, but how di I remove and replace the existing lexan? It appears that it is longer and wider than the track that it is retained in. Before I remove the spline I want to make sure I can remove and replace the lexan.
