I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This 1966 26′ Airstream Land Yatch Overlander needs some love and care. It’s ready to be made over to hit the wide open road. It has a dual axle, and the wheels and tires are in good shape with good grease on the bearings. Originally a double bed with goucho. Most original fixtures have been saved and are included. We purchased approximately $1,400 worth of brand new parts, most still in the shipping box, which include the following in the purchase price…
- New windows – 2 x tempered curved glass to replace large side plexi windows, 1 x large front and 1 x large rear
- New tinted rock guard for front window
- Small D gasket for all windows and adhesive
- Window clips x 7
- New LED Tail and Brake lights (pair)
- New backup lights (pair)
- New License plate light
- Silicone for windows
- Starter size package of aluminum polishing creams, several grits
This silver beauty travels down the road very well, but the lights do not currently work. Includes anti-sway bar hitch. Sold as is. Perfect for conversion to sales/exhibition trailer, as it has been carefully gutted with cabinetry saved for templating purposes.
We don’t have the time to devote to restoring this Overlander right now. It will make a great project and a beautiful design in just the right size. Title in hand, free and clear.
