Making 8foot awning work on 9foot ribs??

So I'm looking at a 8 foot used a&e awning for sale for a sweet price.



My ribs on my globetrotter are 9 feet to where the awning would attach to, the awning is unfort 8feet. Is there any way to make a bracket to make up the difference?



I'm asking because I have no problem fabbing up something but the a&e awnings are new to me as to how they attach to the airstream.
