Sorry to post so many questions, but I'd really like to learn this stuff. The following is a quote from my owners manual:
"Drain Systems Cleaning: The only cleaning agents that can be used without causing harm to the system are household ammonia and tri-sodium phosphate in small quantities. Do not use any product that contains any portion of petroleum distillates. This attacks the rubber seats of your toilet and dump valve. Also, do not use any dish detergent or abrasive cleaners. All products should be marked approved for ABS drainage systems."
What I'd like to know is first, can someone recommend an ABS-approved cleaning product? And second, does this caution also apply to showering or washing hands, dishes, etc., in the sinks?
Thanks in advance for any help.
