Blue Boy too high for drainage

I bought a 30 gal. Barker waste tote for use with our 2014 FC 25FB, with the intent to use it to drain gray and black water (without solids) into. I discovered that the top of the tote and my AS drain is about the same height so if the tote is under the edge of the AS, it would be difficult if not impossible to fill. I realize I could try to move the tote to a lower location and use a longer hose, but that might not be practical at many RV parks, etc. What are the solutions that others use?
