I was reading an article in a trailer magazine about batteries and toward the end the author stated in passing: "you can run AGM batteries below 50%".
I have read many articles and threads on this forum and it has always been gospel to never run batteries below 50%. Did I miss something or was this writer throwing out something that was in his head but not true.
I know a bit about wet batteries, but almost nothing about AGM's - which I bought two years ago (2x6v) and am very happy with - but it would be great to get more use out of them, and/or not get so worried when I'm running down close to 50%.
Any knowledge out there about this?
Thanks, you'all
