I have been restoring our 66 Tradewind we bought in the October 2013. I have gutted the bathroom because the shower, sink, toilet fiberglass unit had been seriously modified and had several cracks. The black water tank will have to be replaced also as it is cracked.
The overall plan is to place the new shower in the same area with the sink on the other side of the bathroom and the toilet somewhere in the middle. I will use a macerating toilet that can pump to a tank so the space where the black water tank was will house a grey water tank and the black water tank will probably go on top of the floor under the sink cabinet.
Now that I have taken the old unit out I would like to know if anyone has removed the tub and how you would build a new shower.
