Atwood Hydro Flame 8500-IV Series. Have been full timing in CO at 8000 ft for 4 years with no furnace problems. Returned from Christmas travel to find less than normal temp. inside. Upon inspecting thermostat, read 65 and on, though furnace not kicking on. Turned of power, toggled 'off 'switch at furnace. Power up and furnace worked fine. 2 days later, felt temp dropping on inside, heater not kicking on (though had been working for hours prior). Just on/off cycling of the thermostat fixed this time.
Also, I hear a new subtle grinding noise when the blower is on. When it kicks of, I hear a intermittent 'rub' with the final revolutions of the blower.
Are these problems connected? Is the furnace over-heating?
Thank you for you time and advice,
Todd
