Camera Apps for Android Phones

I am looking for input on good photo apps for an android phone. It would be nice if you have actually used them and could provide some feedback. My goal is to improve the photos I take on my Droid Turbo which has a good camera with some editing capabilities. I have heard great recommendations for Camera + App which is for I Phones only at this time. I would like to frame my photos and caption them (yes, similar to Flying Gypsies whose photos I admire) for use with emails or holiday cards. I have been reviewing photo apps in app store and online but don't often get consistent good reviews. While free is good I'm willing to pay for an app. Not being very technology advanced I'm looking for a user friendly app that does not want excessive access to my phone contents and this is the only social media I use.
