Suburban nt30 ma to a nt30 sp furnace.

Does anyone know if the suburban nt30 sp innards will slide into the old nt30 ma metal housing? Ive got the sp on order, should be here in a couple days. If i have to remove the old "ma" housing its going to be a real PITA and probably require some cutting on the cabinet in the kitchen. The other question is if the old "ma" housing has adequate fins for air return? Has anyone done this switch out. The dimensions are the same and the only modification that i can see from the pictures is that i need to cut a new hole in the existing housing for the gas line. May have to cut a new hole for the electrical connect also but couldnt tell from the pics of the sp. thank you folks.....

Ps. The folks at Suburban were pretty much worthless when I asked them. Im sure its a CYA thing, gas and all.
