Title: 1976 Airstream Sovereign 31 - Florida
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This Airstream needs a loving restoration/renovation to return it to its former glory or a total gut and remodel/modernization. It is all-original except for the air conditioner (which was replaced when I bought it on consignment from the original owner) and radio (original replaced with a AM/FM/CD player). It is a side bath/double bed floor plan. Due to age several things do not work (Dometic fridge/freezer died, Bowen water heater needs new gas valve, inverter does not charge the battery, soft spot on floor by the door, roof vent fans do not work, streetside awning canvas missing, tambour doors in two kitchen cabinets broken). Structurally it is sound. It has the original draperies, upholstery, etc., all in need of replacement. This Airstream would be an excellent candidate for restoration. The trailer has been used on occasional weekends at a campground in eastern Citrus County, FL and is stored at the campground located 15 miles west of the Wildwood exit of Interstate 75, just northwest of the northern end of the Florida Turnpike.
