Title: 1968 Airstream Safari 22 - Utah

I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

Here is an amazing find!! If you have been searching for a true original puff.. You just found it!!

This is a 68 22' safari.. INTERNATIONAL MODEL!! that means it has everything Airstream had to offer.. like, deluke body trim, control panel, purified water (extra nos filters included!) forced, ducted heat, and much more.. These models were nearly twice the price of a standard model when new. This is the last year of the classic early,

lightweight body style.

Body is nearly flawless. One small dent that a paintless dent guy can get out no problem. The rear of the exterior is as straight as you could hope to find. Clear coat is looking bad, but as you can see, I've tested a few areas, and it comes to a mirror shine quick. Entry door works perfect with original lock set and key. All exterior belly box panels work.

The interior is simply amazing. First and foremost, the floors are completely solid. I've tried hard to access and view as many areas as possible and have found only one spot the size of a 50 cent piece that has any issue.. And that spot is totally solid still and I have a pic

of it. The original interior including the cabinets, counters, vinyl clad (ceiling), appliances, bathroom, and airstream control center are all stunning. Surprisingly, all controls on the control panel work! Including the backlight and nite light. You push the tank button, it shows the level! This stuff is as rare to see as it is rare the condition of this trailer!! Look at the upper forward cabinet (only 68's are shaped like that),

mint!! The original wood has no delamination issues and looked amazing in its original finish.. All cabinets open and close perfect with no broken hardware. Crazy. All of the plastic storage bins are present and the interior wood in those areas looks new. The bathroom is near spotless. The vanity mirror swings out and lights up. The most significant cosmetic flaw is in 2 places the bathroom wall paneling is cracked (see pic), you could glue this back down and dress out the fracture line with your creativity. The appliances look nearly new and are a good representation of the condition this trailer is in. All original window coverigs and drapes are present, but they do need some hardware replaced (plastic parts). When connected to A/C power, everything works except one overhead light (likely bulbs). The fridge immediately got cold. I have not tested the LP or water systems, other than the water pump. Everything looks intact and I would be surprised if anything was not functional. The roof vents work along with the fans (intl model!) windows all work. However, there is one window that broke and is temporarily fixed with plexiglass.. I have the correct replacement window that is included. Also, the center roof vent (astrodome or AC opening) has been replaced with a solid covering that does not open. That is the extent of flaws on this beauty!

I've tried to outline this trailer to the best of my ability in limited words/description. I have several pictures. Please.. Serious buyers with available funds and wife approval.. Or husband (where applicable), call for more info. There really can't be too many left in this condition.. Original cream puff with all original mint interior and near perfect exterior.. 22' size is ideal.. Thanks for looking and reading! Jason. 801-897-1822
