Refrigerator access panel, vented or not?

I just noticed this on a site selling RV parts. They sell a vented exterior refrigerator access hatch. Mine is a regular access hatch.

Should it be vented?

Whats yours?

I doubt the trailer makes a difference but mine is a 76 28ft with a fridge and freezer compartment.
