Locked out of the Airstream

My wife got locked out of our 2008 Classic 25fb. Somehow the inside latch got moved over to the lock position and she closed the door. I wasn't at the campsite to help and she had to borrow her sister's phone. All the keys and her purse were in the AS. Luckily the storage hatch was left unlocked. By removing the two screws that hold the metal support wires the door folded all the way down. She was able to crawl inside the compartment, lift up the bed and get inside. Phew, I was worried we'd have to call a locksmith. Good thing the storage area under the bed didn't have a lot of stuff in it



Lesson learned. We will keep a set of keys on ourshelves and keep a spare somewhere out of the trailer and tow vehicle so this can't happen again.
