Plugin Parameter - Change Track

I'm looking for a way to change tracks in Mobius via a plugin parameter using Ableton. I'm able to change tracks by routing Midi to Mobius and using the next track function. However for other midi demands (explained below) I would prefer to do the same thing via a Plugin Parameter. The issue seems to be that there is an argument assigned to the next track function (or any track select function) so Mobius doesn't know that a C Note is really next track.

The end goal is to be able to have one midi command both cause a program change in one VST (ie sampletank or komplete) and also select the a new track in Mobious.

Any midi mapping in Ableton completely cuts this midi from every reaching a track which Is why I need to use a plugin parameter. One solution might be to use some virtual midi program like bome or midi yoke. So that one command can turn into two separate midi notes.

Any other ideas?

In Ableton I have an instrument rack with chain selector so that I can switch instruments real time. Then have this same command needs to also prompt a change track in Mobius. One thing to keep in mind is that whatever midi needs to be compatibly with both. For example a continuous controller might not work with chain selector (just an example).
