Early 1960's, 1962 to be exact!
Late yesterday afternoon while backing our 1991 Lincoln Mark VII into our garage so it can straddle space between the two garage doors, I backed in at too much of an angle and rolled too far back, then feeling a clunk. I got out only to my horror found the right rear bumper corner had connected and dented our perfectly working 1962 Dometic refrigerator's door we were going to use in "Yeagers" Aound the World Overlander we are restoring. I'm not too popular right now.
So, here's the big question. Does anyone have a vintage '62 large Dometic frig, that doesn't work, hasn't worked and is laying around, but has a nice door, let me know. Chris already had all the woodwork finished and complete to begin interior install, except now has to redo the frig cabinetry for 5 year old two door non vintage Dometic we picked up today. Bummer, no way to make it look the era of 1962. My backing fault has contributed to more unnecessary unwanted carpentry. Gonna stop by Timeless Travel tomorrow.
