Hey folks. Just purchased a very clean 67 Globetrotter that I found here on the Airstream Forums.
I just got off the phone with my insurance company, and they're choking on my $18K stated value for such an old trailer.
I called Haggerty, the folks who insure my two classic cars, but they're not yet in the business of insuring vintage trailers (the guy told me "we're working on it").
As far as simple liability goes, my auto carrier said I'm already covered with the trailer when I'm towing it; but I would like to get some comprehensive/collision on it as well.
Any suggestions as to who I might contact that insures old trailers? Thanks.
