1989 325le fan clutch

I replaced the fan clutch on sunday. A two hour job laying on top of the engine....never again !!! Now the water pump has a small leak, oh well...one more short weekend for us on columbus day weekend, a short trip to cooperstown, ny. I will do the water pump over the winter, but i am going to take the grill off and attack it from the front. I will also replace all the belts and hoses at the same time. I scored a new teleflex speedometer on ebay for 29.95. The po had replaced the original with an autometer which does not look correct. Also scored a new 30 amp shoreline power reel to replace the missing one. Heavy overhaul planned for this winter including a central vac install, all new pex water lines, two new flat screen led tv's. Going to sell my 2001 airstream 390xl and just keep the 1989 325le and our 2005 34' classic limited....more later
