Just thinking about making a gantry to lift the shell and I realized I'd need two chain hoists. The second realization was that I have no idea of what rating hoists I'd need to safely lift a 33 foot long chassis with attached tandem axle running gear. floor, belly pan etc and flip it over and back again a few times. I could figure out the weight of a chassis, axles etc and add it all up but I wasn't sure if that was the best route to take safety wise. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone had experience with chain hoists?
