I am restoring a frame for a '61 Safari and am getting close to being ready to apply the POR-15. I was planning to POR-15 the whole thing, tongue to bumper, but I read that the POR-15 is highly sensitive to UV and should never be exposed to sunlight.
I was planning to paint the tongue and bumper with a silver top coat. Is that good enough to protect the POR-15? Or should I skip the POR-15 on the tongue and bumper?
