We have a 66 airstream - as you all know a big heavy boat.
1st tow vehicle- 2001 Jeep Cherokee- didn't last
2nd tow vehicle- 1996 impala SS with air bags - weight distribution hitch sway bars the works! Great tow vehicle - not enough room
3rd tow vehicle- 97 GMC 1500 4x4 suburban- excellent vehicle. Just got old and a lot of miles
Our new vehicle- a 2008 Ford F350 crew cab-short bed-V10-4:10gears -tow haul mode - factory trailer brake
I just traveled two hours and towing was a DREAM! Unbelievable.
And just when we get the perfect vehicle - we have the 66AS up for sale!
Oh well!!!
